Hackney Homes’ online Resident Community Group continues to grow

The Resident Participation & Community Projects Teams at Hackney Homes have been successful in using the Local Government Associations’ online social networking platform - the ‘Knowledge Hub’ - to engage with residents and Tenant & Resident Associations across the borough.
The Hackney Homes – Resident Participation Community Group allows members to connect with professionals within the field, share information on funding sources, projects and events, and obtain access to a library of documents including templates, minutes and reports on a host of subjects.
Councillor Philip Glanville, Cabinet Adviser for Hackney Homes, said:
“The forum is a wonderful way to engage with residents, make connections and promote a good cause. This is an additional channel that we use to build closer ties with the community we serve.”
“As a councillor and member of the forum I witness first hand the benefits that this social networking platform brings. Many residents and staff members have talked about the value of the forum and we are keen that more people log on and experience the benefits of this online community.”
