All buyers want to ensure their contractors operate safely and increasingly compliance must be proven to qualify for tenders and contracts.

That’s why, for another year, Prima Service has participated in the safecontractor pre-qualification assessment scheme.

The company announced it’s 2012 accreditation this week, as general manager Anna-Maria Dreksler explains: “Meeting national health and safety benchmarks for all our products is a major priority for Prima Service. We want our clients to be confident our procedures are the best in the industry. Accreditation to safecontractor is great news for us because it provides independent verification we are meeting these targets.”

With more than 18,000 contractor members, safecontractor is one of the fastest growing health and safety assessment schemes in the UK. Qualified auditors take into consideration each contractor’s profession, industry sector and business size to identify whether there is suitable and sufficient health and safety compliance.

Adds Anna-Maria: “The safecontractor accreditation reduces the need for buyers to audit individual contractors for pre-qualification, saving them valuable time and giving them peace of mind. Prima is proud to offer this reassurance to its clients”
