Customers and staff at Falcon Court in Kingswood welcomed a visit by their local MP
Chris Skidmore, on Friday. The visit, which was organised by Housing 21, gave
Mr Skidmore, an influential member of the government’s Health Select Committee, an opportunity to better understand the extra care ethos and deliverable outcomes for customers.
Falcon Court is an extra care housing development for older people and consists of 40 one and two bedroom apartments. The scheme, which provides a range of communal facilities including a Wellbeing Centre, aims to allow people to live as independently as possible in an affordable home of their own.
Simon Bostock, regional operations director for Housing 21 said: “We’re delighted that Mr Skidmore was able to visit Falcon Court and meet with staff and customers.”
