BEN - Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund has upgraded and extended its Kypera solutions to enhance its management reporting capability and improve its auditing process, while maintaining flexibility. BEN has upgraded Kypera Financials to the latest version and added Kypera Business for purchase ordering.
BEN provides day, nursing and residential care, as well as practical, emotional and financial support to anyone associated with the automotive indiustry. The organisation is planning some significant new developments over the next few years and a finance system which can manage these changes is needed.
The Kypera solutions will enable BEN to undertake commitment and liability accounting and purchase order processing more efficiently. Kypera Business is a Purchase-to-Pay system which integrates with Kypera Financials to deliver all the latest data for business and financial management. Kypera Business will be used throughout the organisation to streamline the requisitioning process for all budget holders.
Derek Lowe, Financial Controller at BEN says: “We are looking forward to a much slicker month end and year end process with the new Kypera solutions. They will help us to improve the efficiency of our audit process, while giving us the flexibility to leave periods open with sufficient controls. Kypera’s reporting functionality will also make the budgeting process more straightforward. Instead of working with different spreadsheets, all the information will come from a single source and the managers will be able to drill down to find the details relevant to their part of the business. “
Derek Lowe added: “BEN has been using Kypera solutions for the last seven years – they are very reliable and have the flexibility to meet our needs. They are quite intuitive so are easy to use and the support provided is excellent. When we had the opportunity to re-invest in our software we were very pleased to find that Kypera offered what we wanted.”
