Hanover Service Desk Analyst Wins National Service Excellence Award

A service desk analyst at Hanover Housing Association was celebrating this week after fighting off stiff competition to win the coveted title of “IT Service Excellence Professional of the Year” at the prestigious Service Desk Institute (SDI) awards.

Rebecca Beach  received her award as recognition for her ethos towards her customers, her plan to increase her ability to support service users and general service excellence.

The awards, viewed by many as the most prestigious within the service desk industry, were presented at the Service Desk Institute’s Annual Conference in Daventry.

The award judges noted: ‘The entry demonstrates that Rebecca is very passionate about providing the best possible service to her customers. She is the model service professional, striving to improve herself as an individual while selflessly supporting and helping to develop the team. She cares greatly about people and gives above and beyond in all aspects of her role. There is no better deserving winner.”

Barbara Matthews Finance and Resources Director for Hanover said: “This is a fantastic personal achievement for Rebecca who recently put her skills to good use when she helped train 150 housing and estate managers on the IT elements of Hanover’s new housing management system.”
