East Durham Homes appoints Interim CEO
East Durham Homes has announced the appointment of its new Interim Chief Executive.
Paul Mains, formerly Assistant Chief Executive, has been with East Durham Homes for 4 years and has 25 years’ experience in the housing sector.
He will now provide the overall strategic direction and leadership for the company.
Keith Gallagher, Chair of East Durham Homes, said: "The Board has made an excellent choice in appointing Paul as our new Chief Executive.
"The company needed someone with an in depth knowledge of our customers, the area and its' needs who will continue the work of our former Chief Executive in leading us through the Stock Options Review.
"I am confident that Paul, together with a very strong and capable Executive Management Team, have the qualities to successfully lead the company through this period"
Paul Mains said: “I am thrilled to have been appointed to the post of Interim Chief Executive and I’m confident that with the continued support of our staff, customers, the Council and our partners, we can continue to build on our success.”
