Four days left to confirm housing application

Applicants of award-winning landlord whg have until Saturday to confirm their interest in a home.

whg is making changes to choose & move, the service that helps people find a home to rent in Walsall, in order to improve the system. They have contacted all applicants currently registered for a whg home and asked them to confirm they still want a property.

Applicants have also been asked who is in their family so the landlord can be sure what type of home is needed.

The closing date for re-registration is midnight on Saturday, 30th June. Anyone who has not completed the process by that deadline will have their application for a home cancelled.

Visit www.whg.uk.com/reregister and allow 30 minutes to complete the online form. Applicants will need to enter details of income, including welfare benefits, and the National Insurance number of everyone who is named on the application form and aged over 16 .

There are around 16,000 applicants currently registered for a home with whg but many are not actively bidding. In asking everyone to re-register, whg will create a confirmed list of applicants who are seriously interested in finding a whg home now or in the near future.

It will also ensure that whg holds the most up-to-date and accurate personal and contact details to ensure services can be effectively tailored and targeted.

whg wrote to all applicants last month to inform them of the new system and produced a newsletter to explain the changes in full. As part of the revamp, whg will launch an improved choose & move website this summer, hot on the heels of the new user friendly corporate website www.whg.uk.com
