The Queen and William and Kate look-a-likes at CIH Manchester
Vacant property service provider SitexOrbis has raised over £1,000 for charity by putting on a right royal extravaganza at this year’s Housing 2012 conference and exhibition in Manchester with a castle-themed stand and royal look-a-like guests.
Over 700 delegates came to SitexOrbis’ stand which had been transformed into a huge castle to have their photo taken with look-a-likes of the Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. In doing so delegates helped to raise over £1,000 for the charity Help for Heroes. SitexOrbis is extremely grateful to all CIH members for their overwhelming response.
The castle theme is symbolic of SitexOrbis’ holistic security and protection offering for social landlords, which has stood the test of time. This includes everything from securing a social housing property with the right type of screen to cleaning and clearing it of debris to monitoring it with battery-powered video alarms. Everything is backed up by Aura, SitexOrbis’s real-time web-based workflow management and reporting system, which enables customers to instruct, control and track the progress of jobs undertaken.
Alongside the celebrations for the Diamond Jubilee, SitexOrbis is also celebrating having won 13 awards for excellence in the social housing and facilities management sectors over the past three years.
And as the Royal family looks to the new generation of Royals, including Prince Harry and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, SitexOrbis is also focusing on innovation. This year’s focus at CIH Manchester was the company’s latest innovation, iSecurity, a keyless security solution which combines a portable, intelligent iTrap alarm with an innovative keyless, remotely programmable iDoor. Live demos were also given of the videofied visual verification alarm, a rapidly-deployable and cost-effective portable intruder alarm that can be used anywhere, and of Aura.
