Residents from Limehurst got together for a community fun day at the Community Hall to celebrate housing provider Regenda’s 10th anniversary.

Over 50 children joined in the celebrations and took part in a range of activities. These included the choice of making their own t-shirt or mask, pot painting, planting herbs and flowers, flag making and football. The event also included a performance by the Community Hall’s very own dance troop ‘Urban Angels’.

Beckie Kirkland, Neighbourhood Officer at Regenda said: “The day was absolutely fantastic. More children turned up than we could ever have expected and they all wanted to have a go at everything. It really shows what partnership working can do to bring the community together.”

The event was organised by Regenda with help from Oldham Council, Youth Services, Street Scene, Oldham Youth Inclusion Project and Youth Offending Services.

Regenda is marking the Group’s 10th anniversary with a range of exciting projects - to be announced over the next few months - which will improve the environment, employment opportunities and the general wellbeing of Regenda’s residents.
