THE PSI4000 PHASE ROTATION TESTER FROM MARTINDALE ELIMINATES THE GUESSWORK

The PSI4000 from Martindale Electric – pioneers in electrical test equipment – is a unique phase rotation indicator which can be used to quickly and accurately identify three phase sequences for motor installations and repair.

Designed for use on both insulated and non insulated conductors, the PSI4000 carries out measurement via inductive crocodile clips, which can be simply clipped on to speed up testing and ensure safety.

Whilst bright LEDs offer a clear indication of either clockwise or anti clockwise phase rotation, an “enhanced brightness” switch makes indication even brighter in strong ambient light.  A combination of both rotating LEDs and buzzer tones indicate clockwise or anti clockwise rotation.

The handheld PSI4000 comes complete with a magnetic back which can be easily fixed to a metal surface for convenience.  In addition, an “auto off” function activates after five minutes of non detection to preserve battery life.

Totally reliable, the PSI4000 ensures that motors connected to a new installation will always turn in the desired direction, eliminating any potential damage caused by incorrect rotation.
