TESTING THE TESTER WITH MARTINDALE

Now available from Martindale Electric is the CB12 checkbox.  Designed to check the calibration of continuity and resistance ranges of insulation testers and multi meters, the CB12 allows you to easily verify instruments are working within specification.

Unlike other products on the market, the CB12 from Martindale Electric features only one connection for your test leads, with 12 different insulation ranges being selected using the rotary dial.  This eliminates any possibility of leads being inserted into the incorrect socket and ensures quicker test times.  For increased accuracy a Production Verification Certificate is included, giving the actual measured values of the unit.

Housed in an impact resistant case, the CB12 is a robust and compact checkbox which is small enough to be used on site, enabling instruments to be verified in the field.  Martindale claims that, unlike other larger units, the CB12 is very competitively priced.

Few contractors actually give a thought to the accuracy of the instruments they’re using, but inaccurate test results can be worse than no test results at all because they could indicate that an installation is safe when it isn’t.  By checking an instrument regularly, contractors can verify that measurements taken are accurate.

The CB12 is supplied with a comprehensive two year warranty and shipped with a Production Verification Certificate.
