Young people from Litherland have been learning how to be excellent role models in their community after undergoing a citizenship programme ran by One Vision Housing.
The initiative at Litherland Moss Primary School ran over a six week period and included work around the community, environment and health with support from Merseyside Police, Sefton Parks and Greenspaces and the NHS.
Amongst other activities, the children built bird boxes, learnt about healthy eating, personal hygiene and tackled issues around anti social behaviour and how to act as a good citizen.
One Vision Housing Youth Engagement Officer, Marie Morgan said: “These young people are our first ever One Vision Young Citizens and now have the strength of character and courage to do what is right and promote good citizenship within their communities.”
The young people were all given badges and certificates for completing the course.
