Orbit Homes invests in the house builders of tomorrow

Orbit Homes, the development and sales arm of Orbit Group, is investing in the future of house building by sponsoring the Young Builder of the Year Awards, organised by Youthbuild UK.

The focus of the awards is on the journey of the young people to achieving their goals in the construction industry, as well as the qualifications attained. Youthbuild UK chair, John Montague said: “Youthbuild isn’t just about qualifications gained; it also recognises young people who have overcome significant barriers to achieve what they have.”

Orbit Homes is one of four main sponsors of the awards which will be held at the House of Commons on 18 October 2012. All applications received will go to panel of independent judges, including Paul Chandler Executive Vice President Skanska UK, to shortlist 20 finalists.
