Talented artists, young and old, have been exhibiting their work in Runcorn. A community art exhibition, which aims to celebrate the creativity of local artists, took place at Castlefields Community Centre and featured paintings, drawings and photography.
Children from The Park, Astmoor and St Augustines primary schools exhibited their artistic creations.
The exhibition, which has been held annually for the last five years, is organised by Liverpool Housing Trust (LHT) and Plus Dane.
Photographs capturing the regeneration of the local area, produced by members of the Halton Youth Squad aged nine to 14, were also shown.
The squad, which is run jointly by LHT and Plus Dane Group, is made up of young people from Castlefields, Windmill Hill and the surrounding areas.
Set up in 2008 they are involved in community arts, environmental work and community safety.
Jane Smith, regeneration officer for LHT, said: "Every year, I'm amazed at the standard of work that's produced for this art exhibition. The youth squad members have done a great job in chronicling Castlefields as it changes."
