Stockport Homes awarded two of the most prestigious accreditations in the UK

Stockport Homes has become one of only 23 companies in the North of England to achieve the ‘Investors in People’ ‘Health and Wellbeing Good Practice’ award.  This is in addition to retaining its existing ‘Investors in People’ ‘Gold’ award, in which 192 indicators were achieved out of a possible 196.  This represents world class, cutting edge good practice in the way the organisation manages and involves its employees.   
 
The organisation runs regular health and wellbeing activities, gives access to local health and fitness facilities and health providers, offers flexible working and other initiatives like a ‘Cycle to Work’ scheme.

After interviewing 50 employees chosen at random from across the organisation, IIP Assessor John O’Sullivan said: “Stockport Homes is one of the best organisations I have assessed for investing in its people in over 20 years”.  He went on to say that the organisation has “an incredible culture that very few others have” and that he had received “excellent feedback across the board.”
