Latest External Wall Insulation award for South Essex Homes

Anglian are proud to be awarded their latest external wall insulation contract with South Essex Homes.

 Following their appointment earlier this year to insulate seven blocks of sheltered accommodation in Kingfisher and Sandpiper Close, Anglian has since been awarded a further EWI contract to insulate a range of semi-detached and terraced houses in Blenheim Close, Leigh-on-Sea.

The properties which were built using the Laing Easiform construction method will be insulated using the Weber Therm XM system. This process will involve 60mm Phenolic boards applied using mechanical fixings, followed by the application of two coats of base render and a high performance weatherproof silicone top coat. 

 Anglian Insulation Director, Stephen Preece commented ‘We are delighted to be working with South Essex Homes and Saint-Gobain Weber again, and look forward to delivering this new scheme of carbon reduction and energy efficiency measures which will help provide warmer homes’.

 Works begin onsite this month and will run for a period of four months.
