Leading community regeneration company Frank Haslam Milan (FHM) North East, part of the Keepmoat Group, has appointed a new managing director.
Stephen McCoy took up his new role on Monday (10th October) having previously held the position of commercial director with FHM since 2004.
He takes over the top job from David Mellor, who has been appointed as director of new markets and solutions for FHM’s parent company, Keepmoat.
Stephen, of West Boldon, in South Tyneside, brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having worked in the construction industry for 27 years and for companies within the Keepmoat Group for the last 17.
As well as leading FHM’s North East operations, the 43-year-old will also continue to oversee the company’s expansion of its Scottish division.
Stephen said: “I am delighted to have been appointed as managing director at FHM North East and am looking forward to building on the excellent work that David Mellor has carried out during his time in the role.
“These are exciting times for FHM and the Keepmoat Group as a whole – I will be developing on the excellent reputation we have built up here in the North East whilst also ensuring our operations in Scotland continue to grow. “
David Mellor, who has held the managing directors post at FHM North East since 2002, will now work from Keepmoat’s Doncaster headquarters.
His new role will focus on the delivery of new products and innovative solutions and supporting Keepmoat’s business units across the country.
Allen Hickling, Keepmoat director of regeneration, said: “I am delighted to confirm the appointment of Stephen McCoy as Managing Director for FHM North East and wish both David and Stephen every success in their new roles.”
