Helen Evans
Network Housing Group has announced the appointment of a new chief executive, Helen Evans. She has taken up the position, which followed a vigorous selection process, following six months service as Interim Chief Executive. Helen joined the group in March 2010 as Director of London Operations and now becomes the third female chief executive in the G15 group of housing associations.
Group chair Andy Watson said: "I’m delighted that Helen has agreed to accept the appointment. In the last six months the Group has worked hard to ensure continuity and it has successfully consolidated the successes in customer service and efficiency that were initiated by her predecessor, for whom she worked as Director of London Operations. Helen has always stressed how we are all in the business of customer service, whatever our actual job title, and this central premise lies at the heart of our organisation. The board looks forward to working with her in the exciting and challenging times ahead.”
Helen said: “I am delighted to have been offered this job and am grateful for the confidence which the chair and the boards have shown in me. This group of organisations has a record of proud achievement and fantastic potential for the future. I consider myself fortunate to have the opportunity to help realise that future.”
