The family of two former residents of Templar Court has donated a bench to the sheltered scheme so that current residents can sit and enjoy the communal gardens for years to come.

Siblings Elsie and Albert Stott both stayed at Templar Court.  Elsie was a resident for over 19 years and was joined by her brother who moved in to the scheme to be near her.  Although both had health problems they still enjoyed the gardens and Albert regularly took a stroll through the grounds and admired the flowers.

As a tribute to both Elsie, and Albert, who have both now sadly passed away, their family has kindly given a three seater wooden bench to Templar Court for use by other residents.

“The gift of the bench was a very kind gesture which has been really appreciated by all of our residents.  Elsie and Albert both enjoyed our gardens and they are sadly missed.  Albert often shared a little joke with the neighbours when he visited the gardens,” said Annmarie Nickson, neighbourhood officer at Regenda.

Regenda works with communities to build a sustainable future.
