Following on from the successful Lancashire Hill young photographer’s project, Stockport Homes in partnership with the Friends of Crescent Park have arranged for a team of professional photographers to pass on their ‘tricks of the trade’ to young people from the Didsbury Road Area.

Everyone knows that taking a good photograph is an art. A professional can make it look easy; but it’s not. A few little pointers from those in the know can make a big difference.

Using Crescent Park as their base and mentored by the Learn Through Photography Team, young people aged between eight and 16 are appreciating their local environment through the lens of their camera.

The young people of Didsbury Road will be exhibiting their work at Mersey Way Shopping Centre, on Saturday 15 October, 11am to 4pm.

Members of the Learn Through Photography Team and Stockport Homes staff will also be on hand to answer any questions on the project details. Everyone is welcome to come and take and look.
