RHL (Regenda Homes Limited) has launched a distinctive and contemporary brand identity, following North West based housing provider Regenda’s group restructure in May 2011.

The new RHL brand focuses on the positive feeling of being at home surrounded by your creature comforts such as an inviting sofa, a pair of fluffy slippers, family picture frames and your pet cat which all convey feelings of comfort, security and a sense of belonging.

The bold strap line ‘Welcome home’ and the friendly illustration ensures the brand looks fresh and vibrant, differentiating RHL from other housing organisations offering shared ownership.  The visual uses illustration to convey the brand message of ‘Welcome home’ and the simple circular logo and contemporary type face ensure the brand is extremely versatile and will have longevity.

With the new identity comes a brand new website that has been designed with RHLs customers in mind.  The website provides customers who are looking for a home with all the information they will need from what RHL properties are available in the North West to the process of buying through shared ownership.  And for existing residents there is a brand new section called the ‘residents zone’ where home owners can view documents and information relating to the development they live in from leases, repairs to service charges.

Graham Bennett, director of home ownership at RHL said, “The vibrant brand colour scheme was picked to express the RHL core values of being friendly and welcoming. It was important to appeal equally to customers of varying ages and backgrounds.

We are delighted to roll out our brand new website that has been designed with existing and future customers in mind.  The residents zone is a brand new section which I am particularly pleased with as it offers our existing home owners the chance to view any information that is available about their home at one click of a button, a function which is unique to our website.

It has been a really exciting time for RHL and I am looking forward to taking this brand forward on our new developments throughout the North West.”

Robin Arnold, creative director at Baron, who created RHLs new brand identity said; “We felt that the housing association sector was awash with brands that were insipid and sterile. It was important to us to create something original, memorable and contemporary.”

David Al-Hadithi, Director of The Design Foundry said “We’ve been working with Regenda on many creative and online projects over the last four years but this has been by far the largest and most complex of them. I think our delivery focused approach has been invaluable in helping keep the project on time and to budget. We are now also working alongside Regenda to develop the group website.”
