NCHA washes cowboys down drain

Aiming to make the best use of its skilled staff, Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) has decided to offer some of its Maintenance services to private householders and local businesses. 

Commencing 15th September, NCHA will begin operations initially in the Nottingham and Derby area offering Drainage services.  Its specialist team will be able to provide such services as root cutting and high pressure water jetting as well as traditional drainage clearances and excavations.  

They will utilise years of experience providing similar services to NCHA's 15,000 tenants and will also be able to offer CCTV camera surveys and condition reports.  They can also help with insurance work and estate agent surveys. 

"Our charges are very reasonable starting from as little as £55 to clear a standard drain blockage" said Operations Manager Julian Montgomery.  "What is more, the customer can be totally confident that they are dealing with qualified technicians and not being ripped off with shoddy work by cowboys." 

If the Drainage Team proves successful then NCHA hopes to offer other facilities such as gas servicing and painting and decorating.
