Dell-lighted residents at The Dell in Hertford can enjoy relaxing in their communal garden after contractor Borras Construction donated a new garden bench to Riversmead Housing Association’s older persons’ housing scheme.
Borras, who have installed new kitchens and bathrooms to 37 homes at the scheme, wanted to thank residents for their patience and cooperation whilst the work took place.
The improvement work is part of Riversmead’s continuing commitment to maintain the Government’s Decent Homes Standard for all their properties. For residents this means their homes are in a good state of repair and have modern facilities.
Ken Smith, resident at The Dell said: “We are really thankful that Borras have kindly replaced our garden bench. We can once again enjoy spending time in our lovely communal garden.”
The new bench faces the railway where trees, flowers and wildlife reside.
