Dale & Valley Homes looks for new scrutineers

New members are needed to join the group which makes sure A County Durham ALMO is doing its job properly.

The scrutiny group at Dale & Valley Homes is a number of tenants who, with special training, inspect aspects of the way the company manages council homes inWearValleyto make sure customers are getting a good deal.

The group was formed after lengthy consultation and has been operating for six months.

Amy Glendinning, scrutiny co-ordinator, said: “Unfortunately a couple of members have had to step down recently and we are looking for new tenants to come forward. We have organised an assessment day for August 17 when they can find out more about the role and see if it is something they would like to do.”
