Co-regulation: by co-reg champions

Soha tenants have just held a series of workshops in which they showed other social housing residents how they have challenge the work of their landlord, based in Didcot.

The six, pictured, were awarded the status of being ‘Co-regulation Champions’ by theTSA.  As such, they were one of only 10 teams acrossEnglandto have been marked out to share best practice.

At Soha, co-regulation is driven by a variety of involvement channels, including Tenant Inspectors who look at services and ask “does it do what it says on the tin?” and the Tenant Scrutiny Group who ask “was it the right tin in the first place?”

The four workshops held in June and July attracted 110 residents and officers from across the South and South West andMidlands.
