Nadine recieves her prize from Nigel Mawdsley at CGA "Short Notice" raffle
Community Gateway Association(CGA) colleagues kicked off their yearly charity fundraising drive with a "Short Notice" raffle that raised £166 for the organisations designated charity Heartbeat. Each year a local charity is chosen by colleagues at our Staff Day event.
Last year the organisation raised over £1500, for Preston Domestic Violence Services and over the past five years £8000 pounds has been raised for local charities.
The raffle took place on CGA Dress Down Friday with a Nintendo DSi up for grabs kindly donated by Bramall Construction. Other prizes included a £50 Gardening Voucher from Sodexho and donated bottles of wine from other colleagues
The lucky winner was Nadine Duckworth who recently joined CGA as a Welfare Benefits advisor.
Nigel Mawdsley presented Nadine with her prize and commented "Over the past 5 years CGA colleagues have generously donated money to a number of worthy causes, we are proud this year to be raising money for our chosen charity Heartbeat , though times are hard we could not do this without the support of our partners who donate prizes for us to raffle"
