Council tenants in Wear Valley have less than three weeks to make their vote count in elections for a tenant board member for Dale & Valley Homes.
Two tenants are standing for the single vacancy on the board, one of five places reserved for tenants.
The ballot closes on Friday, July 29, and tenants are being urged to make sure they post their votes in plenty of time to ensure they are counted.
Emily Butler, governance manager for the company, said: “Customer involvement and feedback is very important to Dale & Valley Homes at all levels of the organisation. People may not feel that they could stand for election to the board but everyone can exercise their right to vote.
“I would urge all customers who have received their voting paper in the post to make sure they return it in time for it to be counted.”
