Anne Blackburn presented with her Super Neighbour Award
Kind hearted WPH tenant Anne Blackburn from Gorse Hill Crescent, Wallasey has been nominated for a Good Neighbour award by Building Services staff.
The WPH Paint and Repair team working in Gorse Hill Crescent, Wallasey put her name forward to give recognition and thanks for her generosity.
Anne has looked after the team while they've been working in the neighbourhood. She has provided tea, coffee and bacon rolls not only during work to her own property, but while the team was working for her neighbours aswell.
Terry Wilson said "It's the only time I've ever been chased down the road by someone who wanted to give me a cup of tea!"
The paint and repair team really appreciated her hospitality, and to say 'thank you' they arranged for Anne to be presented with flowers, chocolates, a card and a Super Neighbour certificate.
Jimmy Shepherd, who made the nomination told Anne "we nominated you because you're a kind person and deserve to be recognised."
Anne said "I am really happy with all the work that WPH has carried out on my home. It's a nice street and we all try and look after each other."
As part of the WPH Good Neighbour Scheme, Anne will also be entered into a competition and stands a chance to win £100 of vouchers.
