Moat appoints Rob Kerby as Director of Neighbourhoods

South East based housing association, Moat, has appointed Rob Kerby as the new Director of Neighbourhoods. Rob has worked in housing since leaving University in 1997, so his extensive knowledge of the sector makes him a great choice to head the Neighbourhoods Team. 

Rob was previously a Service Director at the Hyde Group and prior to that held a number of positions over an eight year period at Anchor, the specialist older persons housing and support provider. 

Outside of work, Rob is a keen extreme sports fan; kayaking, snowboarding and mountain biking are among his favourite pastimes. He also recently completed an MBA (Masters of Business Administration). 

As Director of Neighbourhoods at Moat, Rob will be leading the Neighbourhoods Team in delivering an efficient customer focused service. When asked, Rob said he was most looking forward to working with the team to unify Moat’s frontline service delivery. 

Rob added; “Moat’s reputation was a huge incentive for me to accept this position. However, the deciding factor was the role itself; although it is a strategic role, my experience and background in housing will also be required to deliver the best possible service to all Moat residents.”
