Savvy first time buyers in South Manchester are snapping up apartments at Wilmslow View in Handforth where over half of the development has already sold.
Housing association Contour Homes is offering purchasers the chance to buy a share of one of these new homes via the Government’s HomeBuy scheme
“The market value of the properties start from £121,450, said Nicky Harris from Contour Homes. “This is a great way for first time buyers to get a foot on the property ladder as it allows people to buy a percentage of the property while paying an affordable rent on the remaining portion.”
Purchasers can buy a 25% share of a property from £30,000, a 50% share from £60,000 and a 75% share from £90,000.
Situated on Eccleston Way in Handforth, Wilmslow View offers a popular location close to good local communities and motorway links. Properties at this architect designed scheme include a fitted bathroom and a fitted kitchen with integrated appliances.
The apartments will also be particularly efficient to run and will include a range of renewable technologies such as Photovoltaic Panels on the roof to harness electricity.
Each apartment will also have its own allocated car parking space.
Kelly Parums from local estate agent Bridgfords said: “These homes are in a great location and offer a high specification. This together with the fact that people can purchase a share they can afford has proved a winning combination.
“Construction levels in the country have dropped to an all time low and so new build contemporary schemes like Wilmslow View tick a lot of boxes for first time buyers.”
Just eight properties remain available for sale and interested purchasers should contact Bridgfords on 01625 532 525.
