GEDLING Homes is celebrating securing two top construction awards.
Gedling Homes celebrated at the Committed to Construction in the East Midlands’ Awards 2011 evening when they received two Highly Commended Awards for Collaborative Working and Training.
The Committed to Construction in the East Midlands Awards took place at the prestigious Leicester Marriott hotel, held by the Chartered Institute of Building and celebrated high quality work by all parts of the region’s construction industry including developers, designers, construction organisations and registered providers.
The Awards were open to organisations, both public and private and also individuals located in and around the region whose business is related to construction. Eight award categories were chosen to reflect the sensitive and diverse issues and matters current in a modern construction industry.
Gedling Homes also sponsored the ‘Committed to Excellence and Quality’ award which Henry Boot won on the night. Lynn Clayton, Managing Director of Gedling Homes presented the award.
The Awards will be held again next year, and after an incredibly successful second year the Committed to Construction in the East Midlands Awards are sure to become the most prestigious event in the construction industry’s social calendar for the region.
Jason Cannon, Head of Investment and Responsive Maintenance, said, “This is a fantastic accolade for such a new organisation. I am extremely proud of the work by staff and partners in developing the foundations to secure these Awards.
"Staff and partners have worked incredibly hard over the last 2 years and this shows that we are delivering a high quality service to our customers."
