CGA Supported Housing Team with Residents recieve CHS Accreditation
Community Gateway Association (CGA) are proud to announce that their Supported Housing team have achieved the Centre for Housing and Support (CHS) Code of Practice.
The Centre for Housing and Support Code of Practice is a quality standard encompassing long-term housing-related support services delivered to vulnerable client groups in any setting, including Extra Care and Floating Support.
The team worked really hard reducing the preparation time from the normal 18-months to just 6-months. Residents were involved on the working group and helped colleagues complete the portfolio of work required as part of the assessment
Phil Hirst, assessor said that "I was really impressed with the CGA submission and the service delivered. I would like to congratulate them for completing this in record time."
Diane Bellinger CGA chief executive commenting on the accreditation, "The team have worked hard since transfer and have embedded a culture of continuous improvement.
This accreditation is well earned, the team and residents should be justifiably proud of achieving this national quality mark in such a short period of time".
