Anglian Building Products is Arches Housing's Contractor of the Year

Anglian Building Products have been voted Contractor of the Year by residents at Arches Housing.

Arches Housing used LHC’s new OJEU compliant, pre-tendered framework arrangement for PVC-U Windows and Doors, (U8) with Anglian Building Products appointed to carry out the necessary works to maintain Decent Homes Standards beyond 2010.

 The scheduled programme of works – phase 2 - took just 10 weeks to complete right from initial surveying and manufacture to finished installation, with a total of 63 homes benefiting from replacement windows. 

Arches Housing then received nominations from residents who voted that Anglian Building Products deserved credit for the quality of work and professional attitude of their staff, who worked through sleet and snow to complete the programme.

Andrew Dobby of Arches Housing said: “This is only the second time that we have asked residents to vote for their Contractor of the Year, suggesting an organisation that they feel deserves a special mention.

“We would like to congratulate Anglian on winning.  Feedback showed that residents were greatly impressed with the level of care taken to ensure minimal impact occurred to their everyday lives. Anglian Building Products completed a very good job in difficult circumstances.”

Throughout the programme, Anglian Building Products worked closely with Arches Housing to ensure that disruption to residents was minimised and that everyone was kept fully informed of the plans and progress.

We really focus on getting things right first time and monitor ourselves through regular resident satisfaction surveys to ensure the service provided is of the highest quality at all times.”

Following the success of the works programme, Arches Housing has continued to work with Anglian Building Products, via the LHC OJEU compliant, pre-tendered framework arrangement for PVC-U Windows and Doors plus associated services.
