CGA Website Workshop February 2011 CGA Website Workshop February 2011

Members of our BME and Disability Focus groups recently attended a workshop at CGA Headquarters to scrutinise CGA’s website.

The focus group members took part in a Mystery Shopping exercise. They had to find a number of different areas on the site, including how to book a repair online and report Anti Social Behaviour.

CGA are currently reviewing the website with a view to launch a new site in 2012. With the introduction of a new British Standard for Web Accessibility (BS 8878), this workshop will be the first of many over the next 12 months.

Phillip Duncan, Gateway Tenants Committee member said, “It was wonderful to find out more about the CGA website and how residents will help influence its future development. In the session, I booked a repair online for the first time and I received an email to confirm my appointment whilst I was sitting in front of the PC. Fantastic”

Robin Ridgley Communications Manager said, “It’s important that CGA members have the opportunity to scrutinise our services, CGA really appreciate the input of our members and the feedback from the workshop will be used to improve the website to make sure we are meeting the needs of all our residents.”
