Anglian awarded three new insulation contracts for Homes in Havering
Anglian Building Products are delighted to be awarded three new contracts by Homes in Havering for the installation of external wall insulation to street properties.
The properties are a mixture of Scotswood timber frame and Cornish PRC construction and the new awards are in addition to the Window and Door Framework contract awarded in 2010.
The Scotswood timberframe properties will be insulated with 70mm Phenolic foam insulation, whilst the Cornish units will have 110mm mineral wool insulation. The ‘U’-values will be improved from an estimated 2.3 W/m2K to 0.26W/m2K on completion of the works. Both property types will be finished with a decorative silicone self-cleaning render.
The Permarock systems used hold British Board of Agrement approval and a 10 year guarantee.
Stephen Preece Anglian’s Director of Insulation and Renewable Technologies commented “We are delighted to have secured this package of work which also includes fascia, soffit, rainwater goods and windows. It also shows a good example of our ‘Total Package’ building envelope service that we offer.”
Works have begun on site and the contracts are due for completion early spring.
