Merlin Housing Society is holding a series of fun events for residents to find out what they think it should be doing.
Over the next week, the society’s Community Investment Team is holding a series of free events, including a pizza night, a tea dance and wine and cheese tasting. While residents are having fun at the events, Merlin staff will be asking them what sorts of services they’d like to receive in the future.
Neighbourhood Involvement Manager Jennifer Griffiths said: “We know that our residents have different priorities and want to tailor our services to meet those needs. This could be by providing new services such as caretaking or by offering an incentive scheme for residents who pay their rent on time.
“We holding these events so we can hear the views of as many of our residents as possible.
The events are part of Merlin’s ongoing consultation on its local offers to residents. The housing regulator, the Tenant Services Authority, has told all housing associations they need to produce local offers to residents which sets out what they will do the TSA’s three key service standards.
Any residents wanting to attend one of the events can contact Merlin on 01454 821100. Places are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
