NCHA annual report 2009-10
Winning Silver at this year's Roses Design Awards means that Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) has notched up its 21st award for its annual report - a virtually unheard of achievement for anyone, let alone a housing association.
Having formed a solid relationship with Nottingham design agency Purple Circle, NCHA has once again beaten off stiff national competition to win their third Roses Design Award.
NCHA Communications Manager Debs Ramsden has made it her mission over the last seven years to ditch the dull and make NCHA's annual report a 'must read' - even if the reader knows nothing about social housing!
Purple Circle's Managing Director, Michael Slack said "The NCHA annual report is one of our favourite projects. It’s so refreshing to work with a client who fully appreciates that creativity and effectiveness can go hand in hand. Last year's report was all about adding value to the community so we based the idea around a village shop. The twist in the tail of the design was that we put the report in a brown paper bag - just as if it had come from a corner shop."
