Riverside Midlands launches a new service in the Leicester area aimed at working with tenants and residents to keep neighbourhoods cleaner, greener and safer.

Today the team are working around the South Braunstone and Beaumanor areas of Leicester helping to pick up litter and talk to tenants and residents about any services that they may need.

Mary Wilson, Your Place Manager said: “This new service will allow Riverside to be able to deal with the day to day estate issues that need to be actioned straight away.

Tenants and residents can report incidents or request jobs to be done.  At the moment I have a team of three environmental operatives who will visit the different estates that Riverside have properties in and will help to ensure that the areas are kept clean, green and safe for all who live there.”

The new Your Place service will offer a range of services to tenants on their doorstep.  Services include neighbourhood wardens, dog fouling patrols, graffiti removal, decorating of homes, removal of fly tipping and litter.

To report an incident or to find out more please contact Mary Wilson or Carol Timson at Riverside on 0845 111 0000 or email yourplaceleicester@riverside.org.uk
