Connaught liaison officer Wendy Wheeler meets with Greenfields residents to discuss future home improvements
Residents of Kelvedon near Braintree have been offered the chance to have their questions answered face-to-face by Greenfields Community Housing and their partners prior to the commencement of latest home improvement works.
Connaught Partnerships Ltd invited residents of Kelvedon to attend a Coffee Morning to discuss in an informal manner the future improvement works planned for their homes. Staff from Greenfields joined the team from Connaught at The Institute on High Street to answer any questions regarding the scheme to deliver kitchen, bathroom, heating and electrical improvements as well as external works to properties across the area.
Wendy Wheeler, Connaught liaison officer, said: “Whilst working in partnership with Greenfields, Connaught has already completed improvements to 525 properties and we were keen to meet with residents of homes that are still to be improved to ensure that they have all the information they require.
“Rather than just simply send details through the post we felt it would be much more beneficial for all parties to meet face-to-face so we were delighted to see so many local residents join us for what was an enjoyable and informative session.”
Martin Norgett, Decent Homes Project Manager at Greenfields, said: “We always like to meet residents prior to us commencing improvements work in their area, to give them the opportunity to ask us questions and find out more about the process. It also helps us to continually improve the service we provide, ensuring it meets our residents’ needs.”
