Derby Homes and Connaught announce new contracts to improve, repair and maintain properties

Derby Homes Ltd and Connaught Partnerships Ltd have announced new contracts potentially worth in excess of £19million to deliver servicing, maintenance and improvements works across 14,000 properties.
Valued at £1.4million in year one before increasing to £2.8million the contract to provide gas servicing, maintenance and safety inspection works commenced on 1st April 2010, with the installation of new heating systems planned during 2011. The £1.8million per annum contract for the supply and installation of new PVCu windows will get underway in the summer of 2010.
Each contract of works is initially scheduled for three years with an option to extend the works for a further two years to March 2015.
