Anglian carrying out cavity wall insulation work at a Maidenhead home
Whilst Britain was plunged into sub-zero temperatures earlier this year, Maidenhead residents were able to enjoy warmer homes thanks to Anglian Building Products.
Anglian completed insulation works to over 150 properties in and around Maidenhead. The project was carried out for Maidenhead and District Housing Association, part of the Housing Solutions Group. It included a diverse range of property types including houses, low rise flats, maisonettes and Jakes House, a sheltered scheme. The scope of works included both loft and cavity wall insulation.
Access to Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT) funding was arranged by Anglian which reduced the cost by approximately 30%.
The insulation will improve comfort levels and reduce heating costs and over 400 tonnes of carbon dioxide will be saved over the whole lifetime of the installation.
Kurt Russell of Housing Solutions Ltd commented: “We were impressed with the organisation, management, knowledge and accessibility of the Anglian team. They safely delivered a completed programme, on time and to the high standards expected by our organisation. We have received numerous calls from residents, delighted with their better insulated homes.”
