Baxi Group, one of Europe’s largest and most innovative manufacturers and distributors of domestic and commercial water and space heating systems, has launched its new specification website for local authority, social housing and private property developers, www.baxigroupspecification.co.uk

The new website is an easy to navigate information resource that has been designed as a single point of reference for all the latest legislation and regulations surrounding heating and hot water generation in the home. It features a whole house boiler sizing tool and will demonstrate various ways to help specifiers achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Levels 3 and 4.

Visitors to the site can access the latest information and requirements on the Code for Sustainable Homes as well as Part L of the Building Regulations, SAP, Decent Homes, Feed-In Tariffs, the Microgeneration Certification Scheme and other key legislative areas. The site also offers an insight into future developments with a timeline looking at forthcoming initiatives and schemes, such as the Renewable Heating Initiative.

Alongside this invaluable data, the site provides full details on the wide range of Baxi Group low and zero carbon solutions for the specification sector. Using the site, developers can understand, identify and specify the best-fit system technologies from the extensive Baxi Group portfolio for their particular new-build or renovation projects.

In addition, visitors can use the site to find out about the Baxi Group design offering for specifiers, NewDesign and support provided by its Business Development Team and heateam nationwide after-sales and technical support service. Specifiers can also obtain information on Baxi Group training and CPD courses and book their places.

“We are delighted to have the new Baxi Group specification website up and running” says Simon Osborne, Baxi Group’s Specification Channel Manager. “It will give our customers access to all the relevant information they need to understand how low and zero carbon heating and hot water technologies fit into this evolving sector. The site will help them plot a path through the potential minefield of legislation and regulation to identify effective low and zero carbon solutions for any new or refurbishment scheme”.

Baxi Group is committed to developing and supplying innovative new heating technologies that will play a role in tackling climate change, reducing the use of fossil fuels and addressing the issues of fuel poverty. For more information, visit www.baxigroupspecification.co.uk
