New Venues announced for National Programme of BTEC Qualifications in Anti Social Behaviour Case Working and Approaches to Restorative Justice

Due to demand, the National Programme of BTEC Qualifications in Anti Social Behaviour Case Working and Approaches to Restorative Justice, two new venues for the Winter Term have been announced. The locations for these will be the National BTEC Centre at the University of Kent in Canterbury and a university venue in Manchester.

The qualifications being held at the two new venues are:

  • BTEC Advanced Award in Neighbourhood Nuisance & Anti-Social Behaviour Case working - Level 3
  • BTEC Professional Award in Restorative Justice Approaches - Level 4
  • BTEC Professional Award in Neighbourhood Nuisance & Anti-Social Behaviour Case work Supervision as a Senior Investigating Officer - Level 5


Bob Kennett, Academic Director of Safety Net associates said:
"Each term we receive more and more interest in these qualifications. The prominence of Anti Social Behaviour in the media and the communities our practitioners serve, along with the support the government have offered has resulted in demand being higher than ever."

"There are still limited places available on all winter term tutorial days however the introduction of these new venues will mean that even more practitioners will be able to get qualified before the March 2010 Deadline set by the Home Secretary in October".

Students from the 2009 programme, dont forget to get your application in for the "National Neighbourhood Justice BTEC Student of the Year Award 2009 - The Big Apple" The winner of which will be sent to New York, USA, for a five day fully funded study visit.
