Didcot Falconry project

12 young people aged 9-14 from Great Western Drive, Didcot, gave a display of falconry on the Estate on Saturday 5 September. The event was the culmination of a six-session, three week course funded by Soha Housing, part of a wider community project for the estate - piloting a green approach to building and sustaining new and existing communities, including raising educational attainment - on which Soha is one of three social landlords. The young people - both boys and girls - came not only from Soha properties but also from the two other housing associations as well as from owner-occupied properties.
