Residents at St Augustines in Tonbridge enjoyed an afternoon of celebrations organised by Invicta Telecare to mark the sheltered housing scheme’s 10th anniversary.
Family and friends joined the residents aged between 54 and the grand old age of 99. Amongst the guests were seven tenants who have lived at St Augustines since the scheme first opened. Past and present visitors enjoyed a running buffet and a delicious cake made by John and Mary who are friends and regular visitors to the scheme.
Jenny Larnach, Invicta Telecare’s scheme manager at St Augustines said: “Helping people to live independently is at the heart of everything we do. I believe that by encouraging residents to get involved in events and activities like today is a great way to help them to keep active and live life to the full. They love any opportunity to get together with friends and family and what better excuse than our tenth anniversary.”
Part of Circle Anglia, Invicta Telecare provides the support
service to 10 sheltered schemes, including St
