Wates Living Space celebrate success at the Sustainable Housing Awards

Wates Living Space are celebrating being awarded the Waste Initiative of the Year award at the recent Inside Housing Sustainability awards.

The award is for the Wates Target Zero initiative whereby the team are aiming to reduce the amount of waste created and maximise the opportunities for recycling.

Paul Davies, Sustainable Technologies Manager for Wates Living Space was also shortlisted in the Green Social Housing Champion of the Year for his continued work and personal commitment to all things green.

Ian Burnett, Managing Director, Wates Living Space said “we are absolutely delighted to have won the Waste Initiative of the Year category at these highly prestigious awards. We are committed to reducing the impact our work has on the environment and Target Zero is a great example of this.”
