New recruit for Accent Peerless
Surrey-based Housing Association Accent Peerless Limited has recently appointed Tony Lewis as Area Housing Officer, covering the Old Dean area in Camberley.
In his new role at Peerless, Tony manages around 700 properties dealing with viewings, new tenant visits, rent arrears, estate management and resident meetings.
As Area Housing Officer, Tony also works closely with Anti-Social Behaviour officers to deal with any problems that may arise and ensure that the estates remain problem-free.
When back in the office, Tony is also involved in producing newsletters for residents with up-to-date news and developments on the estates.
Before joining Accent Peerless, Tony worked in similar roles at other housing organisations and so brings with him a wealth of experience.
“The nature of my job role means that I am always working as part of a team. The team at Accent Peerless has been especially welcoming to me, ensuring that I have settled in well,”
commented Tony.
“The most rewarding part of my job is resolving problems on the estates and helping the residents so that everyone is happy,” he added.
Outside of work Tony is a keen Chelsea Football Club supporter and also enjoys walks along the beach in his home town of Bournemouth.
