Last year, we asked visitors to our website (www.papworth.org.uk) to complete a survey. Thank you to those of you who took part, it gave us some really good information about what you like and don’t like. So we took your advice and now have a refreshed website with lots of new features and content.

The main difference is the structure. Some people said they found it difficult to find their way around the website so we’ve changed the way that the pages are laid-out and what they are called. Now, all of the services that we offer sit under the newly-named tab, ‘Our services’. The remaining tabs are: ‘About us’; ‘Support us’; ‘News’; ‘Work for us’ and ‘Campaigns’.

But it’s not just the structure that has been refreshed; the look and feel of the website has been too. You may have noticed some of the following new features:

• new buttons on the homepage, linking to the various parts of the website
• our phone number, which sits near the ‘Search’ box and appears throughout the website
• a ‘Donate now’ button, which sits above the ‘Search box’ and appears throughout the website
• Google Translate
• ‘e-mail this page’ option, which appears throughout the website
• links to our social networking sites (Facebook/Twitter/YouTube)
• links to online bookmarking sites (Diggit/Reddit)
• All4Charities button, inviting people to consider Papworth Trust when shopping online
• an updated ‘News and events’ section

The content of the website has too been updated. It provides useful and up to date information that you may need. Just some of the new content is as follows:

• a ‘Press office’, with: contact details for the media; downloadable logos and a ‘Case study bank’
• a ‘Virtual awards cabinet’ for everything that we’re proud of
• personalised contact panels for each service area
• videos produced for our service areas (from YouTube)
• updated content for Personal Support; Fundraising; Housing; Campaigns and Empowerment

So, what do you think? You can let us know by completing our online survey. Simply answer the 10 questions - it should take you around 5 minutes. 4 lucky winners will each receive £25.00 in Argos vouchers. We’ll announce the winners in April.
