Readers of 24housing magazine are being offered free VIP entry to this year's Eco Technology Show in Brighton, to be held 27-28 June.

Now in its third year, the show focuses on the practical business benefits of innovation and low carbon solutions.

Guests will be able to listen to speakers at free workshops and visit over 140 exhibitors who will be demonstrating how they can save money and reap measurable benefits for businesses, cities and communities.

And Greg Barker MP, minister of state at the Department of Energy & Climate Change will be making an appearance as a keynote speaker.

Seminar highlights for the sector will include:

• Energy infrastructure as a service: Hear how one local authority is making money from investing in renewable energy infrastructure.
• Eco transformation of your home: Find out about the practical and aesthetic issues around transforming 1960s housing stock; incorporating cutting edge technology to cut CO2 emissions by 75% whilst creating a nurturing family home, with TV presenter Oliver Heath.
• Practical policy solutions for city leaders to encourage the green economy: Hear about the tools cities have at their disposal, and ideas for how to use them, to encourage low carbon practices.

Nicola Gunstone, the show's commercial director, said: “The powerful drivers of carbon reduction, the need to tackle fuel poverty, spiralling energy costs and increasing consumer demand have combined to drive market growth. Eco technology is no longer on the margin – its mainstream business now.

“The products and services we’ll be showcasing provide significant opportunities for improving resource efficiency, energy management and making real differences to the towns and cities we live in. For anyone with focus on energy management, new build or maintaining, improving existing buildings, low carbon transport and resource efficiency, a visit to The Eco Technology Show will be a day well spent.”

The Eco Technology Show will be open from 9.30-5pm on Thursday 26 June and 9.30-4.30pm on Friday 27 June. Registration is free. Just visit www.ecotechnologyshow.co.uk and quote '24housing' for your VIP ticket.
