Axion Consulting’s Jane Gardner has been presented with the 2013 Ben Heath Certificate for Outstanding Presentations from the Chartered Institute of Waste Management.
Jane received her accolade for a presentation on ‘Plastic Carpet and Vinyl Flooring Recycling’, covering innovation and progress in flooring recycling and re-use initiatives, which was delivered at a CIWM East Anglia Centre event.
She collected her certificate from TV presenter Michaela Strachan at a ceremony held at the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square hotel.
This award recognises the importance of preparing clear, informative and interesting presentations, not necessarily involving the preparation of a formal written paper. Presentations made to CIWM events, either nationally or regionally, are judged against a number of different criteria by the Chair of the event.
Jane, a Principal Consultant at the resource recovery specialist, said: “As this is a professionally peer-recognised award, I am delighted to have been honoured in this way and that it impressed the CIWM members enough to put me forward.”
Axion Consulting is part of the Axion Group that develops and operates innovative resource recovery and processing solutions for recycling waste materials. The Group works with a wide range of clients, from Government agencies and local authorities to companies in diverse commercial sectors, on the practical development of new processing and collection methods to recover value from waste resources.
